The deadline for the Director is February 12, 2017, Camp Cook is March 3, 2017 and March 22, 2017 for the rest of the positions.

We insist on enhanced police background (with vulnerable sector) checks, reference checks and Standard First Aid/ CPR certificates for all staff members. All staff are expected to participate in a five-day training session prior to the start of camp.


Job Descriptions


Camp Director - 1 position (seasonal June 5 – August 26, 2017).
To direct a children's residential summer camp based on Christian beliefs. Minimum age 21, teaching, leadership, camping experience, team management skills, business & computer skills, supervision and evaluation of staff and camp operations. Click here for more information.

Camp Administrator – 1 position (seasonal, June 21 – August 26, 2017).
Minimum age 18. This position requires administrative, computer, organizational and good social skills. You will be required to deal with inquiries, maintain records, plan activities, support camp director and staff and work with campers. Click here for more information.

Camp Cook - 1 position (seasonal June 21 - August 26, 2017).
To manage food for a children's residential camp. Minimum age 20, cooking experience, menu planning, budgeting and ordering, food preparation and service, guide and instruct one assistant, thorough knowledge of and maintain proper health standards. Click here for more information.

Assistant Cook - 2 positions (seasonal, June 29 – August 26, 2017).
Minimum age 16, to assist cook with meal preparation, service, and cleanup. Also assist with other aspects of the camp when required. Click here for more information.

Camp Chaplain - (seasonal, weekly, July & August) volunteer. Apply before May 31, 2017.
To lend Christian support and guidance to children's residential summer camp. Teaching, leadership, camping experience, team management skills. Position can be for entire summer or by the week. Please email info@rideauhillcamp.com for more information.

Area Director – 4 positions (seasonal, June 29 – August 26, 2017).
Minimum age 18, leadership skills. Responsible to program, guide campers and staff in areas of Recreation and Nature or Arts and Crafts or Swimming Pool or Canoe and Waterfront. Various qualifications. Click here for more information.

Lifeguards – 2 positions (seasonal, June 29 – August 26, 2017).
Minimum age 17, NLS, RLSSC instructors, CPR, Standard First Aid, teaching ability, pool care and operations, pool safety, teaching, canoe experience (asset, but not required), lifeguarding and camper care for a children's residential summer camp. Click here for more information.

Activity Leaders - 9 positions (seasonal, June 29 – August 26, 2017).
Minimum age 17, leadership skills. Supervise campers in and overnight camp setting, carry out program activities under the direction of the program Directors, act as responsible role model, work in a team with fellow staff members. Click here for more information.
